Following a very busy 18 months – rebranding as Zest in December 2011, acquiring Prontaprint Hastings and expanding into an additional production unit – we started 2013 with the idea that it should be a year of consolidation!

We began with good intentions but the latter half of the year has been crazy busy. Our production capacity has been stretched so we’ve taken on a new member of staff to deal with the extra work. Claire is now one of the team and we love her to bits.

We have a new IT system being installed this week and, next week, we are taking delivery of two new print engines. The logistics are really tight – we’ve got to decommission old machines, remove doorframes, take delivery of new machines and get them all installed – all in the space of 48 hours!

But we are, after all, an on demand print business. We’re used to ‘just in time’ delivery and we work with partners who will deliver a fabulous service.

All that’s left is to hope that you’ve had as busy a year as we have, and here’s to more of the same in 2014! We’ll post pics online so you can follow our saga into the New Year!
