Employers new to apprenticeship schemes can claim benefits from government incentives plus help and funding of training costs. The government is also currently pushing for another 500,000 apprentices to be employed by 2020, so now is the ideal time to take someone on.

According to the National Apprenticeship Service one in five employers are hiring more apprentices to help them through the tough economic climate and 92% of employers who invest in an apprentice believe that apprenticeships lead to a more motivated and satisfied workforce.

Zest Printing has recently taken on an Apprentice, Harry Lee-Preston, a former art student from Sussex Downs College. Throughout his apprenticeship Harry will be getting stuck into everything – learning how to use our high-tech print machinery and get involved in our design, finishing and packing services.
